Abstract
The basis of the bogharic lands' arable in the southeast of Kazakhstan is made by the sierozemic and light-chestnut soils, which have low natural fertility: the maintenance of humus in light sierozem makes 0,6-1,2 %, 1,5-1,8 % in common sierozem and 1,9-2,3 % in light-chestnut soils. Under these conditions the green dressing methods are important for regulation of soil fertility and arable efficiency. In this article the issues of selection the break crops, which biological peculiarities would correspond to the natural environment and climatic features of bogharic agriculture zone in the southeast of Kazakhstan for their further usage as green fertilizer, are considered.
