Abstract
The manufacturing of knitted garments that meet the standards can be guaranteed in the production organization, which establishes the control and product quality evaluation at all manufacturing steps. Three ways of technological process of sweaters production are compared: half-cut (knitting items with following adjusting by cutting), full-fashioned method (knitting finished individual parts), and integral knitting. The control process to ensure product quality for all modes of production was carried out at each technological step. Analysis of the process of sweaters production showed that integral knitting led to a reduction in the basic technological operations of sewing and knitting, the number of inter-operation control and as a consequence to the reduction of the technological cycle. Reducing production cycle of integral knitting reduces the production costs per unit and allows to improve the quality of the production range of the top jersey through the use of resource saving technology and modern equipment.
