Abstract
In this article the issue of onion diseases in the field during vegetation is discussed. The main diseases of onions are downy mildew and various spot diseases. The biological efficiency of fungicide Previcur SL 722 aqueous solution against the downy mildew of onions was studied. The biological efficiency of fungicide Previcur SL 722 aqueous solution was investigated at 2 consumption rates – 1,0 and 1,5 kg/hectare. The maximum efficiency of fungicide at 1,0 kg/hectare consumption rate was noted for the 15th day and made 90,8 % while at 1,5 kg/hectare consumption rate the maximum efficiency was noted for the 15th day and was equal to 91,5 %. In general, the biological efficiency of the investigated fungicide was above the standard, and the best biological efficiency was at consumption rate of 1,5 kg/hectare – 91,5% for the 15th day.
