Abstract
Experimental results on the formation of 3He nuclei in 16Op collisions at 3.25 A GeV / c are presented. It is shown that the formation of 3He nuclei occurs when a neutron is knocked out of α-clusters of oxygen, upon the decay of excited residue nuclei having the structure nα + 3He, due to the fusion of two protons and a neutron close in the phase space
