Abstract
This article reviews the materials about the identity of women buried in the mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi in the XV-XIX centuries. Based on the material sources preserved in the mausoleum, tombstones and written sources, information is given on the names, origin of these women, and on the role that these personalities occupied in the Middle Ages. In particular, tombstones, the content of their inscriptions and the relevant scientific researches make it possible to understand this issue.
