Abstract
The article deals with an integral property of phraseological units in the semantic structure of a phraseologism. Issues concerning the semantic content of lexical units relate to the semantic content of phraseologisms. It presents answers to the questions like what the semantic content of phraseologisms includes, what the position of components of the semantic content is in the system of phraseologisms, issues of phraseosemantics
