Abstract
The identification of traditional local wheat landraces in Uzbekistan by electrophoretic spectrum of reserve proteins – gliadin – is carried out. It is revealed that the samples of Kizil bugday collected from different places have an identical genotype, and varieties Оk bugday and Grekum, belonging to one species, differ on electrophoretic spectrum of gliadin. It is also revealed that Surhak variety, which is cultivated on big areas, has two genotypes differing on electrophoretic spectrum.
