Abstract
In this article the vegetation period duration of cotton species and their hybrids are analyzed. The carried-out analysis of vegetation period duration allows to say that the studied species significantly differ and this sign is inherited polygenetically. As a result it is possible to separate in F2 and in the subsequent generations early-maturing plants with the indicators exceeding the sign supreme expression of initial species.
