Abstract
This paper presents an efficient control strategy of a grinding device of millet. The grinding device is constituted of an inverter and a craft mill with induction motor. The control strategy of this grinding device is based on the scalar control Vf for the craft mill and the Space Vector Modulation SVM for the three-phase inverter. The implementation of the control strategy by simulation in Matlab-Simulink gave satisfactory results in reducing efficiently the starting current while maintaining the performance of the grinding system.
