Abstract

A perfect number is a positive integer that is equal to the sum of its positive divisors, and can be represented by the equation (n)  2n. Even perfect numbers have been discovered, and there is a search that continues for odd perfect number(s). A list of conditions for odd perfect numbers to exist has been compiled, and there has never been a proof against their existence.
