LAW ENFORCEMENT ACTIVITY AS A CULTURAL PHENOMENON

The article is devoted to the study of the law enforcement activity in the context of the socio-cultural approach that provides for studying of this activity's influence on human consciousness and behavior so that to ensure a proper level of the legal socialization of a personality and moral values of the population in a state. As the result of the scientific research, the authors have concluded that law enforcement activity being of a socio-legal nature is an objectively essential and socially useful legal instrument, which stimulates the progress of the legal system, satisfies concrete needs of subjects, quickly reacts to social changes and adapts to new needs of transformational processes in the legal field and social life on the whole.
