Abstract
The article deals with the classification of vegetation of a protected area in northwestern Ukraine. Data on 41 vegetation plots are provided. The analysis of these relevés together with literature data allows to distinguish 10 classes, 16 alliances and 27 associations. The largest areas are covered by plant communities of the classes Vaccinio-Piceetea and Scheuchzerio-Caricetea. Class Vaccio-Piceetea is represented mainly by pine forests associations Cladonio-Pinetum, Peucedano-Pinetum, Querco-Pinetum, class Scheuchzerio-Caricetea – by alliances Sphagno-Caricion canescentis, Caricion canescenti-nigrae, Oxycocco palustri-Betulion pubescentis. Noteworthy is oligotrophic water association Isoëtetum lacustris of the Litorelletea uniflorae.
