Peculiarities of the future economists’ vocational training in higher educational institutions

Abstract
The article presents the research the state of modern vocational training of future economists, its peculiarities and ways of improvement. The concept of economic education development in Ukraine is analyzed. It is noted that the goal of economic education is the vocational training of a developed economist who is capable to self-realization. The directions of the system of higher education reforming are proposed. The definition of vocational training of future economists is given. The requirements for the educational program in accordance with the Standard of Higher Education, the list of competences of a graduate (integral, general, special ones) are defined. The educational process at the economic faculty of the Kharkiv National Pedagogical University named after G.S. Skovoroda is analyzed. Basic characteristics and methods of the educational process improving are presented.
