The article presents materials on the study of ideas about one's own future in ado- lescence with the help of a projective interview. The structure of the interview corresponds to the structure of ideas about the future. Presentations of young men and women about the fu- ture include the following components: the structure of the future image (determined by the existence of life plans and goals and their structuredness). The depth of goal-setting, attitude to the future. Specificity of ideas about the future of young men and girls is revealed.
