Abstract
This article deals with the semantisation of the source language by the lexical means of the target language as one of the key issues of the theory and praxis of foreign language teaching, where the issue of inter-language homonymy is on the front burner. Also we analyse the examples of comparison of semantic equivalence of homonym couples and examples of language opposition formation and the differential characteristics of these couples for avoiding the interference issues.
