«HALO-EFFECT» IN JANE AUSTIN’S BOOK «PRIDE AND PREJUDICE»

Abstract
In the article authors analyze such psychological effect as halo-effect and it's exam- ples in fiction. Halo-effect is a famous psychological effect that has an influence on people per- ception even before process of communication begins. Halo-effect also leads to variety of dif- ferent mistakes and misunderstanding between people. In the article authors review the nature of halo-effect and different sides of this widespread psychological phenomenon. There was also analyzed the impact of halo-effect on different characters of famous English novel “Pride and Prejudice” written by Jane Austen, it's impact on their personality and behavior. The aftermath of halo-affect with the help of the novel's characters were also shown in the paper
