Abstract
This article discusses the increasing incidences of juvenile delinquency in India, in the recent years. It explores the issues contributing to the gradual surge in juvenile delinquency in India due to the impact of unrestrained and explicit media content gifted by technological advancement. It is not only an area to be discussed in legal scenario, but is a social concern, which has not found a convincing answer in spite of several attempts of research by social scientists, psychologists and other media experts. However, the numbers of researches have been conducted within a limited framework, but the need of the hour is to explore it in an interdisciplinary environment to determine the extent and nature of the impact of unrestrained and explicit media content on juvenile delinquency.
