Abstract

The possibility of creating in the tunnel tunnels large diameter barrage system, known in the automotive industry as a "airbag". The main parameters of its working capacity - the response time - are made when filling the internal volume of the cushion due to combustible compositions with large volumes of gaseous products. To reduce the response time, the pillow is proposed to be performed as a multi-cellular structure, with simultaneous initiation of gas evolution in all individual cells. Possible high-efficiency gas-generating compositions are discussed. Preliminary experiments have been carried out, which indicate the basic working capacity of such a cushion, and the results obtained are presented.
