Abstract

One of the most important scienti c problems of mine aerology remains the de nition of the function the mass distribution of dust particles sizes in the atmosphere of mine workings in coal mines. The purpose of this work is to develop a methodology for determining the distribution function of the mass of coal mine dust size particles (containing natural radionuclides) in the atmosphere of mine workings in coal mines. Conducted research particle size distribution of mine dust oating in the atmosphere of mine workings in the conditions of OP "mine "Cold Beam" GP "Makeevugol". The dispersion of the dust was determined by microscopic examination of coal mine dust collected on the lter AFA-RSP-10 aspiration technique. In the result of mine research the methodology for determination of distribution function of mine dust mass due to grain sizes (which contain naturally occurring radionuclides) in mine working air has been worked out, both the calculation and the way of parameter selection for construction of experimental distribution function in logarithmic probability graticube and examination of function formula for compliance with logarithmically normal distribution (LND) have been set out.
