Abstract
As applied to the problem of creating a dust barriers in mine conditions worked out a technique of creating of suspended matter of ne dust in a vertical shock tube at different initial air pressure p0 = 0.1 ÷ 0.01 MPa. For three fractions of quartz sand with particle sizes δ = 250 ÷ 600, 120 ÷ 250, 90 ÷ 120 microns measured height distribution dust density and volume average density of the dust is determined.
