Abstract
The gas mixture CH4 + 2O2 + N2 attenuation of the detonation wave is studied experimentally propagating along dust air curtains with medium bulk density ρd = 2.2 ÷ 3.5 g/l at initial pressures p0 = 0.1 ÷ 0.01 MPa. Studied quartz sand fraction with a particle size δ = 250÷600, 120÷250 and 90÷120 microns. Discovered non-monotone pulsating character of detonation attenuation when beyond its leading edge occurs secondary detonation temporarily accelerating wave.
