Abstract
Utilization of E-waste materials and plastic bags wastage are partial solution to environmental and ecological problems Use of these materials not only helps in getting aggregates, concrete and other construction materials it helps in reducing the cost of concrete manufacturing, over utilization of natural aggregates, but also has numerous indirect benefits such as reduction in land fill cost, save energy and protecting the environment from pollution effect. Electronic waste, abbreviated as E-waste, consists of discarded old computer, TV, refrigerators, radio, etc., that has reached its end. Plastic bags are used packing food, medical products, etc., and the major problem in LDPE has not been easily recyclable but services are increasing the ability to do so. By utilizing E-waste and plastic bag wastage particles as coarse aggregates in concrete with percentage replacement of 5% to 10% i.e. (5%, 7%, and 10%). By conducting test for both specimens (Fresh and Hardened) properties of the concrete laboratory after curing 7, 14 and 28 days, the specimens used for testing include cube and cylinder. The main aim of this experimental study recommends the recycling of the E-waste and plastic bag wastes in concrete road as a replacement of natural aggregates in the production of new concrete (E-PB). The results are checked based on the standards of IRC to use for the rigid pavement.
