Abstract
The article characterizes the creativity of the Adyg composer Cheslav Anzarokov, identifi es the stylistic features of his compositions. Along the way, the article addresses the issue of national and international, European and Adyg methods of work with folk material. The author comes to the conclusion of incomplete formation of Adyg School of composition, observing the dynamics of traditional genres' development.
