Abstract
The idea of controlling a device with brain waves has always been interesting. The first ever brain computer interface with electrodes was performed by a German physicist, Hans Berger, in the year 1924. He coined the term electroencephalography. In this paper we present an idea to control an LED using this technology. When the required waves are transmitted the LED glows and when there are relatively less waves, the LED does not glow. To perform this we used an Instrumentation amplifier, a filter, a microcontroller and an output device (LED), with Discrete Fourier transforms to perform the operations. The different states of the specimen are recorded and the results have been obtained.
