Heritage of aesthetic symbolism in the design culture of the XXI century

This article develops some current trends in contemporary design culture. Researches were conducted on the basis of the design theory and practice materials. The author shows the close connection with the methodological potential of aesthetics at the turn of the XIX–XX centuries.
