Abstract
A simple, facile, economic and fast technique has been successfully developed for the synthesis of Fe3O4 magnetic nanoparticles (Fe3O4- MNPs). Fe3O4-MNPs structure was analyzed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and X-ray powder diffraction (XRD). In addition, the particles morphology was investigated under transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The particles size was calculated using Debye-Scherrer equation and was found to be in the range of 20-30 nm and compared with the particle size identified under TEM. The results of particle size distribution indicated that the size distribution of nanoparticles is in the range of 10-35 nm with the standard deviation and average size of 15.47 and 24.57, respectively. Vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) was used for investigating the magnetic properties of Fe3O4-MNPs.
