Estudo de viabilidade do Curso Técnico em Agrimensura da UTFPR

The present study to analyze the feasibility of UTFPR campus Pato Branco's Surveying Technician Course. In this work, the profile of the student graduated in the university's course, the mesoregions which possess either concentration or need of technicians and engineers, as well as the amount of technician and engineering courses of the area available in Southern Brazil. A comparison of the proportion of technicians and engineers existing in the South was made out of this data, comparing with the professional presence in European countries like Germany and Hungary. The result of this analysis showed that the technician course is feasible, mainly to attend work demands like georeferencing rural properties and also allowed, upon the need of professionals, to recommend the creation of new technician and engineering courses in the state of Paraná and only technician courses in the state of Rio Grande do Sul.
