Vertical time basis for visual image is an artist's physical sphere and his/her inner reality, pain oblivion experience, inspiration flash, ecstasy insight. A person keeps not only his/her prive life impressions but also a great many images of culture. It is here where critical dramatic nature of his/her relationship towards reality exists. Stratum of the past involves sense of the plot and it is introduced into the movie text in case when peripetia proves to be essential, the peripetia initiates temporal mark change of modal operator from “then” to “now»: THEN ➞ NOW. The plot is formed both with horisontal logics of cause-effect relationship and audio-visual layers logics organization that possesses their own temporality. The major conclusion is as folows: vertical time has rigid structure and plot-making significance.
