On the Problem of Copying and Borrowing of Plots in the Cabinet Plastics of the Second half of 19th Century. Sculptors E. Lanceray and V. Grachev

The article is devoted to the problem of determining the authorship of the songs chamber sculptures second half of the 19th century in Russia. Considers new forms of partnerships sculptor — author of the composition and sculptor — artist. Also discusses other aspects of the art market. In light of this study, it appears that the attributions and catalogues of the works-scale plastic art, along with the performers of repetitions should be called by the authors of original compositions, if revealed.
