Abstract
A series of paintings for Isabella d'Este's studiolo is one of the very famous ensembles in allegorical painting of the XV century Italy. It is referred to as a collection of Marchesa of Mantua. This painting was to be executed on a specific programe. Surviving documents allow us to judge how she Isabella sought to carefully monitor the exact fulfillment of the requirements, it imposes on the implementation of its order.
