Abstract
The article concerns a longtime dialog of Henry Moore with the
Renaissance art, which had started at the time of his scholarship to Italy in 1925 and reached its full expression during the second worldwide war. The article explores conceptual sides of this interrelation, reflecting how new principles of working with sculptural form have penetrated the art of Henry Moore. Supported by the interpretation of some of his pieces.
