EDUCATION AS A COMPLEX AND SOCIALLY RELEVANT SYSTEM

Any analogy explains a little, but a lot of things well illustrates. One of the main feature of the development of a complex system is existence of side effects and negative consequences. The development of such a complex and socially relevant system as the education system is, demands special attention. New approaches are necessary in a postsoviet education system. It is obvious that the education system should change, but a well known medical principle “don't do much harm” should be realized during decision-making process on each of levels of the education system.
