Abstract
Abstract : 25 year old diabetic male presented with multiple itchy raised skin lesions of 5 years duration. Examination revealed multiple scaly umbilicated papules and nodules all over the body with koebnerisation and few varioliform scars at some sites. Multiple keloids were seen over the lateral aspect of abdomen, one of which showed overlying umbilicated papule. A clinical diagnosis of Reactive Perforating Collagenosis RPC and keloid coexisting at same site was made and confirmed by biopsy. The underlying common pathogenic factor between RPC and keloid involving fibronectin has been discussed subsequently. Keyword :Reactive perforating collagenosis, Keloid, Fibronectin
