This article observes the process of development and construction of so-called “seven sisters”, one of the first soviet skyscrapers' ensemble. The history of these buildings is full of mystery and gossips — from the conception of the project till the quantity and locations of the buildings. The author of the article mentions a few
facts which throw some light on the first step of project development including locations and function of the buildings.
