Abstract
On the basis of identified trends in the global steel industry development and assessment of Ukrainian Mining and Metallurgical Complex (MMC) the directions of development of metallurgy in Ukraineusing the mechanisms of incorporating MMC strategies in the global metals market, combining the development of the internal market with expansion into other markets, are grounded.
