«New regionalism» and the development of theoretical aspects of clusters establishment

The network production systems, which are created and functioning on the basis of cluster principles of organization and cooperation are discussed. The theory of new regionalism is developed. It is shown that the formation of regions is not limited by national boundaries, and can include certain part of the territory of one or more countries. The aspects of self-form of new and liquidation of existing regions are highlighted. Possibility of the regions creation on territory of the cluster in the framework of the existing administrative units on terms of the redistribution of functions between them are conceded. Relationship between geospace as a physical attribute, homogeneous geospace of regional formations, cyberspace as geospace of world wide web are comprehended. In the methodological aspect clusters are investigated as a driving force for prosperity in the context of globalization.
