Abstract

The article analyzes the financial soundness of the enterprise: the equity ratio, gearing ratio, concentration ratio of borrowed capital. Investigated is the “rule of the vertical structure of capital” and the “golden rule of financing” of enterprises. The conditions for applying the financial equilibrium “golden rule of financing” are defined. The criteria of risk for getting borrowed capital are defined using a compromise approach. Due to the requirements of the rules concerning the formation of the capital structure, it is described how to prevent risk in the enterprise. The state of the metallurgical enterprises by criteria of risk prevention is analyzed on the example of such enterprises as PJSC “DMZ”, PLC “Donetskstal”, PLC “CMH”. Researches on the optimization of the critera of risk of getting borrowed capital is made based on the ratio of assets and liabilities of metallurgical enterprises, such as PJSC “DMZ”. PLC “Donetskstal”, PLC “CMH”. Substantiated is the inadvisability of using indicators of the vertical structure of capital and operating leverage for assessing the risk of borrowing capital by metallurgical enterprises.
