KNOWLEDGE STUDY OF NON-MEDICAL STUDENTS ON BASIC CARDIOPULMONARY REANIMATION

Abstract
First medical aid knowledge is necessary for every person, regardless of what his specialty is. The aim of the work was to study the theoretical knowledge of students "National Research University Higher School of Economics" about basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation. A survey was conducted of 50 students, who study at the Faculty of Business Informatics in the second year. The average age of the respondents was 19 ± 1 years. The students answered 25 questions of the questionnaire on the topic: "Fundamentals of cardiopulmonary resuscitation". In the course of the studies it was found that the average value of the correct answers for questions is 36%. In the "HSE" students are well aware of the answers to questions related to the definition of the human condition (78%) and the order of basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation (78%). The respondents gave the least number of correct answers to questions about the frequency of compression on the chest (4%) and the conditions for carrying out artificial ventilation (6%).
