Abstract
One of optimal ways or possibilities to achieve educational aim is to interest students in the educational process, to activate them. It is possible to achieve while using proper educational methods, stimulating students themselves to look for interesting, active ways of learning in a concrete lesson and situation. Codified tasks solution for a concrete educational activity can be called as active learning tasks. The usage of such tasks does not need much time. They can be used for students' interest, motivation, review and others. Their use mostly depends on the aims and tasks in a geography lesson. It is important not to forget individualization and differentiation. The article is based on the example of the 8th form geography lesson where one of the methods is the usage of codified tasks.
