Abstract
High-quality single crystal of 1,3-bis(4-methoxyphenyl)prop-2-en-1-one (BMP) has been grown by the vertical Bridgman technique. Calculated the grain size of BMP single crystal from powder XRD. 1H NMR spectrum was recorded to confirm the presence of protons in the synthesized compound. The dielectric constant and dielectric loss of the grown crystal was studied as a function of frequency with different temperatures and the results are discussed.
