Estimation of the efficiency of use of labour potential of industry taking into account the level of knowledge-intensive of its industries

In the article on the basis of the proposed methodology the assessment of labour potential of industry taking into account the level of knowledge-intensive of the main types of industrial activities is made. The moderate connection between the level of development of labour potential, the level of knowledge-intensive and labour productivity is defined which is not a characteristic of all economic activities in the industry. It was concluded about the lack of effective use of labour potential of the industry, on the necessity of modernising industrial production in Ukraine, on the formation of corresponding of its needs the labour potential.
