Abstract

A crucial role for many processes of friction and wear has a recovery rate of damaged films of different nature, since the friction is almost always in the micro-zones are formed juvenile metal surface. Also, the processes of friction and wear with lubricants importance has oxygen contained in lubricants. The film of metallic soap is capable of withstanding without substantial deformation fracture, leading to a sharp decrease in metal contact surfaces. The article deals with some of the mechanisms of formation of protective microfilm on the friction surfaces that reduce the rate of wear.
