Abstract
This article deals with the problem of optimization of education in general and education in particular, from the standpoint of integrated pedagogy in the historical aspect. We analyzed the approaches of different authors to the understanding of integrated pedagogy highlighted common features that reflect the essence of this phenomenon. A key principle of integrated pedagogy is to create conditions for the development of creative abilities of teachers and students in the system of their relationship.
