Abstract
Potato is one of the few species of plants, the harvest is valuable for several processing industries. High-value this culture and in the diet of modern man. Many people in our country as a whole, and in Kabardino-Balkaria in particular, cultivated the crop on their private land. The article highlights the peculiarities of the cultivation of potatoes in home gardens, taking into account soil-climatic characteristics of the region.
