AGROBIOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF SOME VARIETIES AND HYBRIDS OF EGGPLANT IN THE CONDITIONS OF A FOOTHILL ZONE OF THE KBR

Geographic and climatic potential of the country allows to increase the area to increase the gross yield of vegetable crops, including eggplant. Another important reserve for increasing fees eggplant is to optimize the technology of growing crops in relation to specific conditions of our region. An important factor in efficient production of any culture, including eggplant, is the correct selection of assortment for specific soil and climatic conditions. Therefore, the aim of this work was to study agro-biological peculiarities of some promising cultivars and hybrids of eggplant in the conditions of a foothill zone of the KBR.
