Abstract

In large farms of Kabardino-Balkaria, a huge area is often occupied by a single culture. Crop rotation is not encouraged. Without the use of pesticides monoculture simply will not survive. When using pesticides, beneficial insects are killed in the first place, and their population begins to recover only after multiply the pests. And while predators is not until the biological balance is broken, there is a rapid, uncontrolled proliferation of pests, outbreak of their population, which requires repeated application of pesticides etc. as soon As we took the pesticides, we entered into an endless struggle in which our small temporary victory ultimately turn into a major defeat. Deteriorating product quality, deteriorating environment, we have gone from a biological equilibrium that could be established between the pests and their natural enemies, there are forms of pests resistant to the poisons used previously and there is a need to develop new generations of pesticides.
