Abstract
When fires in enclosed spaces may occur about 800 0C temperature. From the literature it is known that the temperature of about 600 C lead to lower strength metal construction is about 3 times. What happens to the metal structures at higher temperatures, there is no information in the literature. One of the objectives of this study was to identify the effect on the structural strength of materials to elevated temperatures up to 800 C, as well as to identify what influences fire-fighting water in the residual strength of steel structures.
