Abstract
Examined the functional indicators of psychological processes and the cardiovascular system in teachers of higher educational institution during the academic semester. Set changes in the state of psycho-physiological status expressed in reducing resistance and concentration, mobility, strength, steadiness of nerve processes and standards by the end of the semester. The cardiovascular system has been relatively stable and within acceptable norms. Assessment of the State of autonomic nervous activity teachers showed the predominance of the parasympathetic activity of the division over sympathetic at the beginning of the academic semester, through 2 months of teaching activity revealed a moderate sympathicotonia, and by the end of the semester - a significant prevalence of the sympathetic division of the autonomic nervous system on parasympathetic. Despite such peculiarities of functioning of body systems teachers during the school semester, this category of persons is not detected signs of professional "burn out".
