Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of problems of interaction of correctional institution with the family on two fronts: a study of the relevant experience of schools and experimental diagnosis parents and children evaluation of this work. Presents the original results and methods of research of effectiveness of the system of psycho-pedagogical work with parents correction school pupils with impaired intellect; is determined by the degree of effectiveness of school psychological-pedagogical work with parents of pupils with impaired intellect; identified social needs and social types of parents and educators; methodical recommendations for educators correctional schools for improvement of psychological-pedagogical school work with students ' families with impaired intellect.
