Abstract
A result of research of the functional state of the organism and its relationship with the level of development of physical qualities in cadets of various professional groups revealed significant differences not only the level of adaptation reserves, but also the quality of their use in the process of adaptation. It is shown that neurohumoral regulation of the body determines its physical capabilities. Aerobic-anaerobic endurance is characterized by an increase of adaptation reserves at the expense of the autonomic predominantly parasympathetic activity. Speed and force qualities require a greater share sympathetic participation.
